My exploration of new ways of altering design in relation to current design trends, shown in the exposition below.
In the above design, I make use of the grain effect, to represent a more human outline of Einstein with this nearly retro theme.
Additionally, the size and texture of the background make Einstein look as big as life, with his tongue out - he's bigger than life.
Your attention is taken away from the fact that he is literally fading into the background, Einstein is gone, instead the satirical quote wonderfully misused above makes this design all the more down to Earth.
Most people know the image above - seen in black and white, and is primarily what the brain envisions in regard to this Einstein closeup.
In the above design the black and white is only a fraction of the entire design, but the entirety of the background.
My aim was to make the viewer touch unnecessary facts of history, such as if Albert Einstein and Michael Jordan existed at the same time. They did not, for the record.
This project was created and finished in September 2023, however has been published in January 2024.
